XI Concurso CLEI-UNESCO de Tesis de Maestría

The Master Thesis aid is an annual event that takes place at the Congress organized by the Latin America Center of Informatic Studies (CLEI) . The objective is to promote the work of young investigators and to stimulate the participation at the Congress of latin American students who have finished their thesis of masters in computer science. The awarded works must be a summary of their investigation works resulting of this thesis.

For this aid CLEI it counts on the UNESCO auspice, that in addition from year 1994 takes care of its organization.

Students who have graduated between March 1^st  2003 and  February 31^st 2004  in masters programs from Latin American Universities can participate. The works must be individual - not in group -. the awarded works will be presented and published in acts of the XXX Latin American Conference of Computer science, that will take place in Arequipa, Peru, from September 27^th to October 1^st 2004.

The works will be judged by a Evaluator Committee coordinated by Ing. Cláudio Menezes, Regional Advisor of Communication and Computer science of the UNESCO-Montevideo office. The composition of this committee will be detailed soon.
